Our 2026 Board of Directors Announced

North Sydney Referees are proud to confirm the returning Board for the 2026 season, continuing a strong foundation of leadership, experience, and commitment to the development of referees across all levels.


The returning Board brings a balance of long-standing service and forward-thinking ideas, ensuring the association continues to grow, support its members, and uphold the high standards North Sydney Referees are known for.


Chairman – Michael Quailey

Michael continues in his role as Chairman, providing steady and respected leadership built on decades of service to the association. His guidance, vision, and deep care for members remain central to the ongoing success and culture of North Sydney Referees.


Executive Officer – Graeme Field

Graeme returns as Executive Officer, overseeing the operational side of the association and ensuring smooth coordination across all departments. His experience and attention to detail play a key role in keeping the association running efficiently.


Director of Finance – James Leane

James continues as Director of Finance, responsibly managing the association’s finances and ensuring strong governance, transparency, and long-term sustainability.



Director of Member Services – Ilana Crawford

Ilana returns in the role of Director of Member Services, focusing on the welfare, engagement, and support of referees. Her work ensures members feel valued, heard, and supported both on and off the field.


Director of Referee Development – Steve Tulinsky

Steve continues to lead Coaching and Development, driving referee education, skill progression, and performance pathways. His commitment to referee growth remains vital to developing officials at all levels.


Director of Digital Technology & Junior Liaison – Tyler Armstrong

Tyler returns in a dual role, overseeing digital technology while acting as a key link for junior referees. His focus on innovation, communication, and junior engagement helps strengthen the future of the association.
